Can you convert VSQx to VSQ? History Talk (0) Share. Yes, however, there is little point in doing so as much data is lost in the process.

Currently the parser supports VCCV voicebanks and includes an English and English->Japanese dictionaries. You can find the instructions for the plugin in the readme folder, but you can find a more in-depth guide here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zSqFm3UoYBVHQaLd_HMbOPPc7XXOegYw2HiafIol64s/edit?usp=sharingIf you've used my previous iteration of the Lyric Parser, the major changes are the following: * The parser is now a plugin and runs within UTAU * The parser now accesses your voicebanks to customize the UST for them. * Improved parsing and dictionary edits * Improved UI that allows you to quickly update the dictionary and find where the parser wasn't able to translate the word properly * Now supports any language that fits the VCCV syntax as long as the correct dictionary is suppliedThe cover used here is 98% raw output from the parser. You'll be able to achieve better results by using some of the settings that are implemented and editing the output.My current plans are to fix any bugs/problems that come up and try to implement other styles like CV, VCV, and CVVC. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback, both good and bad, and suggestions! The best ways to contact me are here on Soundcloud or on Twitter (@Snowphones), but if I don't respond feel free to @ me directly on Twitter.

How??? Did I not repost this???

@itsuki-takanashi: That would make sense considering everything else is just text files, but I still couldn't find any issues on my end after triple checking everything and running my own virus scan on it. If there's anything else I can do let me know, sorry about the difficulties!
Comment by Snowphones
@snowphones: I didn't see anything wrong with the files, but I uploaded it to google drive since mediafire can be kinda funky. If you're still having issues let me know! :)
Comment by Snowphones
@itsuki-takanashi: The github has the code itself, but the dist folder has an outdated version. As far as the virus notification I'm not sure why it's doing that, I can double check the link to make sure it hasn't been messed with or anything. Sorry about that!

@echo_exe: I guess first just make sure you're doing everything right: select the language (English), press the 'Parse UST' button, and press the 'Confirm' button (Updating words through the Errors tab is optional). If it's still not working you can pm me either screenshots of the parser before you press confirm and/or the UST itself if you want and I can take a look at them :)
Comment by Echo.exe (Side-A)
@snowphones: Yes, imported into UTAU. I don't have Vocaloid ;w; -- And I did make sure the language was correct. I have my own full VCCV English bank. I'm pretty sure it just didn't have the words...but even then it doesn't edit those words and leaves them like the VSQ(x) had them.
Comment by Snowphones
@echo_exe: By VSQ(x)s do you mean like imported into UTAU? Because the plugin shouldn't work (properly) with Vocaloid. If it's missing words make sure the language is correct and that you have a VCCV bank of that language, otherwise it might just be the dictionary doesn't have that word with the right number of syllables, which it'll add once you confirm the plugin. If it's still not working right let me know!
Comment by Echo.exe (Side-A)
@snowphones: Alright, I'll try! I haven't tried it with USTs yet, but with VSQ(x)s it seems to miss a lot of the words and extend the sound of some for me? ;;
Comment by Snowphones
@echo_exe: No, but I only made slight changes to the original UST by UtauReni besides parsing it, so it should sound similar after a pass with the parser :)
Comment by Echo.exe (Side-A)
Is this UST released for VCCV? It sounds so good~

@snowphones: Thank you!

what's this song called?

@oscar-sttewe-jaehnig-barrios-389017657: You could always try it, but the program itself currently only tries to format VCCV lyrics. Arpasing has an official lyric converter though, so I'd try that out! :)
Comment by Mochlin
Would this work with Arpasing?

@miss_foxk: It's definitely something I've thought about, and if possible would like to do in a future release, but no ETA at the moment. Doing something like Japanese VCV would be really easy since it shouldn't require resizing notes and the dictionary would just have the 'CV' portion as the starting consonant and the vowel in the vowel area. If it's something like English VCV (or any language that has consonant endings) I'd have to look into how their -VC notes are formatted and update the dictionary based on the different symbols, which would take more time. And I'm glad you've enjoyed it! :)
Comment by Miss FoxK
When do you think you'd release a VCV-compatible version? I fell in love with this helpful tool <3
Comment by Snowphones
@user-326375643: Pretty much :) If you import an English VSQx the plugin should convert it outside of any of the [word-] [-] [/] things. To work around it you just need to remove the '-' at the end of the first word and change the '/' to a '-'.

@snowphones: WOW so basically a VSQx->UST VCCV thingy? I love it already lol
Comment by N-KUN (MOVED)
It wont let me download because it says that a virus was detected...

@hale-hamasaki: You should be able to edit the notepad file directly, though that may be overwritten if the parser is still open. The other option is (with Japanese selected on the main tab) go to the dictionary tab and search for the terms you want to change. You can edit the pronunciations there and press the update button to update the dictionary. Then just make sure you go back to the main tab, hit 'Parse UST' and press the 'Confirm' button towards the bottom to save the UST and dictionary.

@snowphones: How do I change the dictionary? I can't figure out how to add notes, and I tried changing the Japanese 0's to O's and dd's to 7 via notepad, but nothing happened'
Comment by Snowphones
@user-326375643: It reads in the lyrics you put into the notes in UTAU and translates them into the VCCV format. You can choose what language you're using in the program, which is based on a list of words and pronunciations it references. It uses the voicebank selected to check what's available to use for each word. When it's done the notes should be in a VCCV format that VCCV banks can sing. There's more in-depth information in the read-me file as well as the google doc I linked, but I'll answer any other questions you may have! :)
